I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of History and Political Science at Utah Valley University.

As well, I am a:

Researcher interested in how to conceptualize and measure learner engagement in blended settings.  I am also interested in how to facilitate discourse and communication using online and blended techniques in the history, English, and humanities classroom.

Ph.D. graduate. In August 2016, I finished my Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology and Technology at Brigham Young University.

Teacher & Curriculum Developer.  In 2010 I was voted “Teacher of the Year” by my fabulous students at Open High School of Utah!

Senior Director of Advocacy Communications, Mormon Women for Ethical Government.

Stanford Grad (BA, International Relations, 1996; MA, History, 1999).  Go Cardinal!

Adoptive Mom totally in love with her two children (and her husband, the best ever partner in parenting).
